Christmas is coming around fast and I have only one rule - I DO NOT GO TO THE MALL AFTER DECEMBER 1st! Why not? Because little old ladies will kick your butt in the mall if you snatch that last goody off the shelf! Just kidding - I actually love this season, though I’ve seen a few grey haired scuffles in my day…and my mother-in-law, who is a cool 74 years old, always wins!
One of my favorite things about the holiday season is music. I especially love the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. My favorite song is Christmas in Sarajevo.
To watch the video click here: Trans-Siberian Orchestra (low bandwith in case you’re on dial up) or Here (for higher connection speed and better clarify)
This song just makes me feel all…Christmas-sy (I know it ain’t a word, but you know what I mean) inside. Not to mention the guys who play the guitars aren’t bad lookin’ - You just can’t beat talent AND good looks!
What’s your favorite holiday song? Tell us and have your name entered in a drawing for your choice of a complimentary download or print copy of one of my new or upcoming releases. The winner will be announced Thursday, December 7th.

Is that the song that says, “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas, la la la la la la la la….?”
I love that one, too. Girl, I can always do Bing or Frank Sinatra.

Hey, I actually have some of the songs you guys mentioned. I know I have 8 Day of Christmas and Christmas with Yolanda Adams.
Actually, Yolanda Adams is one of my favorite vocalists. I can sing ya’ll, and if I sound like anyone, it’s pretty close to her.
Point of Grace has a couple of songs I really like, too.

White Christmas is my favorite song! But I love all of em an play music all thru the holiday!
by Tehya December 6th, 2006 at 10:52 pmMy favorite is one I learned in Glee Club in elementary school: The Twelve Days After Christmas. It’s twisted, it’s funny, and it never fails to make me smile!
Singing it now… “The first day after Christmas, my true love and I had a fight. And so I chopped the pear tree down, and burned it just for spite…”
See? Twisted.
by Jennifer December 6th, 2006 at 11:48 pmMy favorite Christmas song is White Christmas. I love snow especially at Christmas and this song always makes me feel Christmas-sy. Don’t know why but whenever I hear that song or watch the movie it always brings a tear to my eye. Maybe because it makes me think of Christmases gone by.
by glenna day December 6th, 2006 at 11:52 pmI love Carol of the Bells. I always want to direct it, LOL! And it’s the only time of year knowing the 2nd alto part of the Messiah really does you any good for singing along in the car!
by amy2ericky December 7th, 2006 at 12:29 amWhite Christmas. Hearing the song brings to mind the snow, fun and good wishes that I associate with Christmas.
