Curling up in Front of the Television

I love to watch television. Some people might call it a time waster but for me it’s a chance to unwind, to spend time with my husband and keep up with some of the latest trends in entertainment. This last one is important because it translates to my writing and helps me keep up with the shows people are watching. I also tend to multi-task and tap away on my laptop during the commercial breaks and boring bits so manage to write quite a bit as well.

All the new season shows have started and these are some of my favorites:

Grey’s Anatomy
Jericho
Bones
Desperate Housewives
Men in Trees
House
Ugly Betty
Boston Legal
Supernatural
Shark

At the moment I’m watching a lot of TV, as you can see And funnily enough I see that my likes also translate to my writing. I watch paranormal, quirky comedy and mystery suspense. That’s exactly what you find when you pick up a book written by me!

Do you watch TV? What shows do you like to watch? Which are your favorites?

  1. I like a lot of the same shows that you do:

    supernatural
    jericho
    24
    house
    bones
    amazing race
    medium
    lost
    psych
    men in trees

Not a daytime tv watcher, but watching tv at night helps me unwind and relax.

  2. I don’t tend to watch much TV so I don’t know what most of what’s out there these days, with the exception of the ear bleeder American Idol.

    So, what’s Shark about?

  3. I like NCIS, Heros, Jericho…just watched a re-run of Grey’s Anatomy last night so I might start watching that show.

  4. Shark is all about James Woods, so if you don’t like him, you won’t like the show. Its about a former defense attorney who is asked to work for the D.A.’s office as head of the high profile crimes unit. The storylines are sometimes good, sometimes not so much, but watching James do his thing as a focused, career oriented, abrasive, demanding lawyer, with a soft spot for his teenage daughter, can be hightly entertaining.
