First Party of the Season

Hi all, (I’m so goofy! I wrote this post Saturday night and set it to post on Monday…a day too late. Geesh. Okay, I’m fixing it now so it’ll post here in just a second on Sunday like it’s supposed to! Love ya’ll!)

I just got home from my first (and hopefully only) holiday party! My boss (she’s so KEWL) had it at her house as our company does every year and it was a lot of fun.

I’m glad I went, ’cause to be honest I was so tired I considered staying home. But once I got there my typical bubbly personality kicked in (no, really, it did!) and I enjoyed mingling with co-workers and even their kids.

Also, the hosts had presents for EVERY kid, including my old frickin’ teenagers. And the gifts were actually things that they wanted!

The food was great, the games were fun…and now this sistah is going to bed.

Oh, I almost forgot - NEW HOLIDAY HOTTIE HINTS are up on the news page! Have fun!

All Kinds of Stuff For Saturday

First - there’s this gorgeous, talented author and her name is Anya Bast, I happen to be fortunate enough to call her a dear friend and also to write with her in Harlequin Spice’s first anthology - What Happens In Vegas coming to bookstore shelves May 1, 2008.

Anya creates book videos and she made this one for the antho. It’s fabulous, no?

Then there’s the uber squee-worthy fact that yesterday we got an offer on a joint project Megan Hart and I worked on together called Trade Secrets. We actually brainstormed it in a long line for one dinner or another at RT in April so whee! More details later when we can give them.

Got first round edits back on Cascadia Wolves: Standoff and thank goodness, Angie loved the book. I’ll get them out of the way this weekend around working Battlefront, which by the way, I just hit 65K on so I’m really happy with my progress.

I’ll leave you all with this youtube video featuring Julian McMahon. He’s sort of the man I have in my head when I’m working on dirty/bad/wrong, the story in Trade Secrets.

It’s snowing here. This makes me smile. Everyone have a great weekend!!
