Interesting facts, TJ. Gemma Halliday over at Killer Fiction has some wacky dating tales on her blog. She never fails to make me chuckle.

It's funny how engrained the internet and google are in our everyday lives. It comes up in conversation quite often between hubby and I. Have you googled it? he asks.

Hey Leah,

I must admit, I have met some awesome friends via the internet, so why not be able to meet an awesome mate via the internet? I like your logic woman. And you're so right, it's so different from when I was a kid. I'm 40 years old now, and some of the drama that I see my college age kids go through is amazing! Some good...and some, not so much ;d

LOL, I blogged today about how it's been 32 years since my last 'first date'. The internet sure didn't exist back then so no, I can't help you on any of these stats. But I watch my sons as they are 'learning the ropes' and one as he's being roped and hitched. I'm glad I am not 'out on the market' these days. But if I were 25 years younger, I'd probably being using the internet to date - I've met a lot of friends online first.
